Introduction to Feng Shui

Feng Shui (pronounced “fung shway”) is an ancient Chinese practice that focuses on creating harmony between people and their environment. The phrase literally means “wind and water,” symbolizing the flow of energy — or Chi — through space. Whether you’re decorating your home, rearranging a room, or just looking to feel more peaceful in your space, understanding a few basic Feng Shui principles can help.

The idea behind Feng Shui is that your surroundings affect your energy, mood, and even success. By aligning your space with nature and energy flow, you can create a healthier and more supportive environment for all areas of your life — from health and relationships to career and wealth.

Chi is the life force that flows through everything. Good Feng Shui helps Chi move smoothly and freely in your space. Stagnant or blocked energy can lead to discomfort or misfortune.

This beginner's class educates students on the subject of Qi and how it flows through our environment.
