Skills overview: RIT basics refresher/RIT bag familiarization. Live RIT scenarios.
Details: we will be going over how to use a RIT bag different ways to do hot bottle swaps, RIT with rope, full on RIT scenarios with real hands on RIT operations.
Additional information: food will be provided for lunch, if you plan on attending this training event please respond and let me know so we can have the appropriate amount of food for everyone.
NOTE: this is not a class…this is a training operation…there is no failing this, and there is no showing off, no browbeating, no belittling. This is simply a time and place for sharing skills with each other and learning/honing skills and tricks of the trade. Of course, we are always open to opinions and advice and different ways of doing things, we ask that you at least hear us out and let us show you what we’ve been taught, then dive into questions or disagreements or different ways of going about things. Hopefully this is just the beginning of many training events to come, and we can compare different ways and methods of achieving goals we all want on the fireground.
