Join Allie as we kick off our monthly journey through the chakras.
Each month you will spend a class learning about one specific chakra and how to integrate ancient energetic balancing techniques with your everyday asana practice and strengthen your spiritual mind-body connection. Each chakra is believed to be associated with a pranayama (breath), mantra (seed sound), mudra (sacred gesture), and asana (posture) that work to bring the chakra into balance. We’ll put these techniques into practice together so bring a journal and pen, be ready to flow, and maybe even wear the chakra color!
This session's chakra focus: Muladhara, The Root Chakra (the color is red!) and you will leave with a new sense of grounding and how to rediscover this every time you step on your mat.
