Youth Fishing Derby

Lure in the fun at the Annual Lake Callis Youth Fishing Derby! Spend a delightful morning fishing with friends and family around the lake. Prizes await in various age categories for the most and largest fish caught. Please ensure each participant brings their own equipment, and each child should have one fishing pole. Join us for a reel good time!

When: Saturday, May 31st, 2025
Where: Lake Callis Recreation Complex (1152 N. Gale Rd)
Time: 9:00 – 11:30am
Ages:
• Minnow Division (ages 3-5)
• Bluegill Division (ages 6-9)
• Bass Division (ages 10-12)
• Pike Division (ages 13-16)
• All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Fees: (Park entrance included with registration.)
• Residents: $5 per participant
• Non-Residents: $7 per participant

Pre-registration is recommended however registration will still be accepted the day of (however there may be limited goodie bags). Registration is accepted on our website at www.DTParks.com or by visiting the DTPR office during office hours.
