Stan Wood's Private Garden Tour

Join former Flamingo Gardens Executive Director and long-time Board member, Stan Wood, for a private tour featuring an inside look at his South Florida plant production garden, showing you an example of the true meaning of a “Plant Nursery”. During the tour, a short presentation will be conducted by Propagation Specialist, Johnny Shelton. Guests may choose a free 1–3-gallon plant, from a special assortment compiled by Stan Wood. Please take note, this will be a walking tour over gravel, sand and paved paths. We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes.

Stan Wood grew up on the property of Flamingo Groves and has been a long-time Board Member and former Executive Director of Flamingo Gardens. In addition to his 60-year career in Agriculture and Horticulture, Stan is also a prolific photographer.
