Orchid Mounting Techniques & Potting Medias with instructor, Sandi Jones of Broward Orchid Society.
In this class you will learn how to mount orchids on grapewood, cork, tree fern and trees. Also understand about the different potting medias available such as moss, fired clay pellets, coconut chips, bark, charcoal and sponge rock.
Sandi Jones is the proud owner of Broward Orchid Supply & Services Inc. She is an Orchid Hobbyist and plant lover. Sandi started her business in 2006. As well as selling her products at her shop and online, she does orchid, garden events, and orchid care classes throughout South Florida. Sandi always comes with her trailer, which was converted into a mobile emporium, filled with garden supplies! During our break and after class, you can visit her mobile orchid and plant emporium which will be parked in the Flamingo Gardens front parking lot, to purchase any supplies you may need.
