Nestled on the border of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire amongst historic towns and beautiful rural scenes. The Shuckburgh Estate is a privately owned picturesque country estate hosting a beautiful 12th Century mansion and 2,500 acres of rolling Warwickshire countryside. On our Shooting School UK hosted simulated days you will have the pleasure of exploring these grounds and the rare opportunity to shoot driven clays on a range of scenic drives with Sir James Shuckburgh.
The day will be run like a Game day but with a good variety of high Pheasant and Partridge clay targets flying over you. This will be a great opportunity to get your gun out and practice your swing in preparation for the upcoming high pheasant shoots this season!
We will meet at Shuckburgh Hall at 9.30am with Bacon and sausage rolls and coffee on arrival together with an introduction to the day, a safety briefing and a drawing of pegs. We will then shoot two drives after which we will enjoy Champagne elevenses of Brixham crab, Scotch duck egg, lobster arancini and rillettes of chicken.
This will then be followed by a further three drives. After the fifth drive Tom Bally from The Nomadic Chef will provide a fabulous Creedy Carver duck breast lunch served with confit duck, thyme layered duck fat potatoes and blackberry jus, with fine red wines. Our feast will be rounded off with delicious dark chocolate fondant and then cheese and port. We will be dining at the grand table in the spectacular Great Hall with Sir James.
This is a great social day which is very good for entertaining friends, family and clients. We will shoot 5000+ clays throughout the course of the day.
