The Quad Cities are bursting with history! Join us for this extra special visit to local cultural and historical institutions and organizations around the Quad Cities to learn about the region's storied past.
We will visit the Bix Beiderbecke Museum and Archives for this Q-C History Hop. We will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum in its new location and before its grand opening!!
The Bix Museum is dedicated to sharing the story of legendary cornetist, pianist, and composer Bix Beiderbecke. Learn about the captivating story of jazz and history by viewing rare films, listening to recordings of his music, and seeing artifacts from his life. Nathan Kraft will guide us on a tour through the museum to highlight its unique artifacts.
We will meet at the Bix Museum at 6:00 pm.
