After Work Hike

Join us for our next After Work Hike. It’s July! Come prepared for hot weather. Don’t forget your water bottle, and feel free to bring a snack if needed. We’ll take breaks throughout the hike. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Name: Boyd Big Tree Preserve
Difficulty Level: Moderate – there will be some elevation to climb
Date: Monday, July 21st
Time: Meet at 6pm. Start hike at 6:05pm
Trailhead: Parking lot off of 443/Fishing Creek Valley Road. You will go
up a long drive to a pavilion. If you are going up a steep mountain, you’re
headed towards the WRONG lot.
Estimated Hiking Time: 1.5 hours
Length: 2-3 miles
Elevation: 400-500ft
Route Type: Loop
Dog Friendly: Yes (on leash)
