Salt Marsh Excursion

The salt marsh is one of the most important—and surprisingly lively—places along our coast. It’s home to juvenile fish, shrimp, crabs, and all kinds of other interesting creatures. During this excursion, you’ll take on the role of a marine scientist, exploring the marsh and discovering who lives there. You’ll learn how to collect samples, gently examine, and release specimens for a closer look at this amazing habitat!

Please be advised that you will get wet and muddy, so you may wish to prepare your vehicle and attire accordingly.
