Croc Records presents GRATTS (Belgium) @gratts.dj
Belgian DJ and producer Tristan Jong, aka Gratts, has been a prolific agent of the European electronic scene for over two decades. He started playing and collecting records in the late nineties and delivers an always-expanding, deep-dug repertoire of quality, soul-soaked electronic music that is firmly embedded in house, but not restrained by any categorizations.
2024 marks Gratts’ 25th year of DJ’ing. The Belgian also got nominated at this year’s SA Music Awards (category Electronic Music).
After living and working in Berlin for 8 years, he now calls South Australia home, where he divides his time touring, producing music and running his label Be Strong Be Free out of coastal SA.
With each of his record releases, the Belgian aims to create a moment. It’s safe to say his records haven’t gone unnoticed, garnering heavy worldwide radio, press and DJ support - his work always raw, real, and full of emotion.
With previous performances at Boiler room, Hör Berlin and several projects in the works, including new EPs on Canadian label Bienvenue and Lisbon’s Inner Balance, as well as forthcoming material on his own label, 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest yet for the Belgian producer.
