Join us on Wednesday 23rd October from 6pm at The Sail Loft, Dartmouth, as we kick off the Dartmouth Food Festival with a truly special guest chef pop-up.
We’re bringing together the very best of South Devon waters with an Asian influence for a ticketed, sharing-style seafood feast (£40 per person), the perfect evening for groups of friends, seafood lovers, & food festival-goers alike.
The Menu features:
- Fresh oyster with soy sauce & horseradish
- Scallop sashimi
- Octopus with spicy leek relish
- Grilled oyster with garlic miso butter & spring onion
- Mixed seafood tempura with rice, miso soup & grilled hispi cabbage
- Yuzu & white wine sorbet
About the collaboration:
This event brings together two incredible talents.
Miles Fernandez, who has been cultivating oysters in the Dart for seven years and started his own farm two years ago, now supplies some of the region’s best restaurants.
Yoshi, former owner of the much-loved Taguchi-Ya in Totnes, has worked in restaurants across the area and built a loyal following for her Japanese-inspired cooking. Since closing her restaurant, she & Miles have been collaborating, combining passion, friendship, and a love of seafood.
Limited seating so book early to avoid missing out!
