We’re excited to gather in the community space at IKEA Halifax for our next Maker Swap! This venue offers on-site parking and is connected by several bus routes. We recognize that access looks different for everyone—please don’t hesitate to reach out if transportation is a challenge. We’ll do our best to help.
This inclusive event welcomes all backgrounds, abilities, and skill levels. The idea is simple and joyful: bring something made by hand or a voucher for a service you can offer, and swap for something shared by another community member. Best of all—no money is exchanged and perfection is never expected. 🌟
Whether it’s a passion project, a humble handmade item, or a skill you want to offer, we’re just grateful you showed up.
New to Maker Swaps? Here’s How It Works:
🔹 Bring a friend (and grab them a ticket too!)
🔹 Share something you’ve created—big or small, practical or playful
🔹 Place your item(s) on the communal table
🔹 After introductions, we’ll take turns choosing items one by one until the table is clear and hearts are full
