Notice to all parents and Students for the Karate grading on Saturday July 12th 2025.
Hello all,
We will be holding our Summer grading on Saturday 12th July 2025 from 1pm.
Please find below some very important checklist for the day:
1. Bring plenty of water before the grading
2. Check that all grading fees have been paid
3. BRING YOUR LICENCE to the grading
4. Make sure that your GI is nice and tidy / ironed
5. Arrive 5 minutes before the grading starts (1 pm)
6. On arrival, please ensure to register with the grading reception to announce your presence.
7. Drink enough water for the warm ups.
8. Your grading does not officially end until you have left the hall.
9. Let the instructors know of any issues, eg, injuries etc.
Some notice for parents:
1. Please respect Beckets Sports Centre's policy, and do not allow under aged children to wander around the centre.
2. Please make sure you have a bottle of water for your child as we will allow them water breaks due to the summer heat.
3. Please do not approach your child when the grading has started. If for any reason a child is unwell or is in need of water, then please notify one of the instructors who will then allow the child the break without any penalty.
4. Lastly, all parents and children are invited to stay for the adult grading to see some of the differences between the syllabus, but please remember not to distract the adults who are grading, as the adults can fail their grading.
