Plant Hunters Weekend

Celebrating the lives of some of Britain’s most intrepid plant hunters, Tom Hart Dyke and friends mark this special Bank Holiday weekend in authentic dress, with Tom taking visitors on a tour of The World Garden starting at 1:30pm until 2.30pm (meet at the front of the main house at 1.30pm).

We are delighted to welcome back ‘Zoolab’ to our event for all 3 days. A ranger will bring a selection of animal friends from across the globe for visitors to see, learn about their habitats and have a chance to hold or feel some of them.* This part of the tour starts inside St Botolph’s Church at 2.30pm until 3.30pm. You can expect to see a selection of critters, including Giant African snails, insects, spiders, and corn snakes.

*For those that wish to hold or feel some of the animals, numbers maybe limited on the day to ensure their welfare, thank you for your understanding.

The World Garden nursery will have lots of new and exclusive plant arrivals for the event. The Manor House will also be open for visitors to enjoy too, as well as our tea marquee.
