Whisky tasting - 18th December “The Unsung Hero - American Oak”

We are very pleased to have Ben Stuart return to angels cut for a whisky tasting.

Ben has over 20 years in spirits, working as a brand ambassador across some of the worlds best-loved brands. He brings great stories, smart insights from behind the curtain, and a relaxed, entertaining style - you are guaranteed to learn something new and have a brilliant night out. 🥃

Bens theme is American Oak: The Neglected Powerhouse

Everyone’s chasing fancy finishes, but American Oak is where the real magic happens. Discover how this humble wood shapes the world’s most successful drams at an entertaining tasting looking at different regions and styles but only one finish.



We will be trying six whiskies with Ben discussing how different new make works with the wonderful American oak.
