Kids Running Series - Session #1 - Sponsored by Sal's!

Join us this summer for our Second Annual Kids Running Series for children ages 2 years old - 11 Years Old! This series will offer kids, based on their ages, a chance to learn proper pre & post race stretching, running techniques, and participate in a weekly race. All kids will receive a T-Shirt for participating in any one of the four races. All kids who complete in the last race will receive an accomplisher medal! Points will be accumulated at all four races and the top three racers in each age bracket will receive a trophy at the end of the series!

Costs:
* $50/child, $30/for each additional child in the same family

Race Distances based on Age:
* 2-3 Years Old - 50 yd. dash
* 4-5 Years Old - 75 yd. dash
* 6-7 Years Old - 1/4 Mile
* 8-9 Years Old - 1/2 Mile
* 10-11 Years Old - 1 Mile

Weekly Event Schedule:
6:00 pm - All kids arrive & Check in
6:15 pm - Pre-Race Stretching Starts
6:30 pm - Races Start - work through age groups starting with the youngest - oldest participants

Kids will be treated to a popsicle or ice cream treat after each race week after the completion of the last race of the evening!

This is not a drop off program, parents/guardians are required to stay with their children.
