Good Morning……this is your United Veterans Memorial Day Parade Committee with information pertaining to this years Memorial Day Parade and area Ceremonies on Memorial Day (May 26, 2025).
The Memorial Day Parade will begin in South Beloit (IL), and travel along Blackhawk Blvd (Hwy 2) into Beloit (Wi) onto State Street to East Grand Avenue (Center of City) making a right hand turn onto East Grand Avenue.
The Parade will terminate at College Street (just before Horace White Park), and Short Street.
This will allow the marching bands to make the left hand turn up College Street to their staging buss area on Bushnell Street between Park Avenue and College Street. It also provides exiting onto Short Street to Broad Street turning East and exiting the area. DONOT STOP ON THESE SIDE EXIT STREETS, keep the parade moving out of the area.
Parade Participants returning this year will return to the same Veterans Section, however, your section number will change, so if you were in section one last year, you will be in section 5 this year, and section two last year will be section one this year…and so on-every Veterans Group advances one section.
