Sculptor Emma Stebbins & Dansville
Learn why the famous sculptor Emma Stebbins came to Dr. James C. Jackson’s Our Home on the Hillside in 1881. Author Maria Teresa Cometto shares the story of Emma and her iconic Angel of the Waters statue in Central Park, which has been seen in many shows including HBO’s Gilded Age! Researcher Jane Oakes will give an intriguing glimpse of the daily going on at the sanatorium and the other famous guests there, including Clara Barton.
