Look What I Made

Join us on Saturday, September 6 for the opening of Liv Cook's collaborative art exhibition, Look What I Made at Gasper Arts Center.

This playful and poignant show explores themes of identity, personal transformation, and the preservation of childhood imagination through a series of eleven collaborative portraits. Each piece begins with Cook’s rendering of a collaborator as a young child, drawn from a baby photo. The painting is then handed over to that same artist to complete the background—inviting their current creative voice into dialogue with their childhood self. The result is a collection of layered, deeply personal works that bridge past and present in unexpected ways.

Artist Bio

Liv Cook, born in Pittsburgh, PA, is a 21-year-old portrait artist and self-taught painter

based in South Florida. Her large-scale portraiture explores human identity and expression through striking imagery, showcasing the impact of existing and occupying space as one’s authentic self.
