"For some time I've been looking for a way to help calm my mind and to cope more effectively with the pressures of a busy life. Having never been on a silent retreat nor studied Mindfulness, I wasn’t sure quite what to expect. I was also a little apprehensive that, as a man in my mid-fifties, I might feel out of place. Needless to say shouldn't have worried! Setting aside time just for myself, with the chance to step outside daily life, was so rewarding. Our nurturing retreat days and afternoons are set at a peaceful boutique studio in a stunning rural setting in Little Baddow, just outside Chelmsford.
Practices will be supremely gentle and rooted in mindfulness, guided relaxation and nature awareness, including silent walks into the surrounding countryside, weather permitting.
Curious beginners to retreats and mindfulness are warmly welcome.
For anyone seeking some deeply replenishing time out in a beautiful natural setting. Can be used as a mindfulness taster session or for those with experience seeking to deepen practice.
