August Commemorative Weaving

Commemorative Weaving on a Simple Loom with Janeise Harmon

$68 per person all materials included
Max 12 students

Participants are encourage to select a memory, place, or person they wish to commemorate. They will then be guided to think creatively about how they can best use mixed materials to represent their chosen subject visually. This class will be an exploration in playful creativity and self-expression. Participants will finish the class with a wall hanging that is ready for gifting or display. Basic weaving terminology and techniques will be covered; however, the emphasis will be on fun and playful experimentation. All materials are included, and the frame loom can be kept for future projects. Participants are encouraged to incorporate some materials that are personal to them in their weaving as well.
