The Stokes County Arts Council presents its Summer 2025 show:
SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK LIVE!
Directed by Kimberly Boles
Rehearsals: June 8th - July 24th
Shows: July 25th - 27th (3 -4 performances total)
Synopsis:
Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction."

Roles to be Auditioned:
TOM (M Vocal range: Baritone) - A young teacher who has just received his degree. He has a good heart and is excited about the future but still unsure and nervous.
GEORGE (M Vocal range: Baritone/Tenor) - Tom's romantic side. Typically sweet and caring.
DORI ( F Vocal range: Alto) - Tom's Goofy side. Endering, cute, and very playful
SHULIE (F Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano) - Tom's sweet side. An ernest and sweet ingenue who plays guitar.
JOE (M Vocal Range: Baritone) - Tom's cool side. Very slick and laid back, but also fun-loving.
DINA (F Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano) - Tom's mature side. She is thoughtful, grounded, and the voice of reason.
ENSEMBLE: All vocal types/genders/ages
