This immersive two-weekend workshop series is designed for newly certified and experienced Pilates instructors who want to refine their skills, sharpen their teaching, and reconnect with the deeper principles of the method.
Led by second-generation teacher and Briggs Pilates Method founder Mary Ann Briggs, this training blends hands-on teaching, movement exploration, and intelligent cueing—offered in an intimate, small-group format (max 5 participants per session).

*Build trust and clarity by confidently teaching foundational principles and movements.

Feet First: Unlocking Lower Body Intelligence
*Understand the foundational role of the feet in alignment and efficient movement.
*Apply tactile and verbal cueing to correct foot-knee-hip tracking patterns.
Day 2 Morning
From the Ground Up: Applying Alignment in Motion
*Integrate lower-body alignment into mat and apparatus work.
*Train your teaching eye to identify and correct common compensations.
Day 2 Afternoon
Bridging the Method: Classical Roots, Contemporary Flow
*Explore the original Pilates principles and how they align with modern teaching.
*Create cohesive, flow-based classes that honor both classical and contemporary approaches.

Moving with Meaning: Principles into Practice
*Apply Pilates principles to improve mobility, stability, and movement quality.
*Use cueing strategies and thoughtful modifications to elevate your teaching impact.

Unilateral Wisdom: Strength Through Asymmetry
*Learn the benefits of unilateral training for balance, function, and injury prevention.
*Use the RAID cueing method to offer safe, intentional hands-on feedback.
Day 2 Morning
Progress with Purpose: Programming Across Apparatus
*Learn how to progress clients confidently across Mat, Cadillac, and Reformer.
*Identify key readiness indicators and design clear, goal-oriented movement pathways.
Day 2 Afternoon
Teaching What You See: Adaptive, Intentional Instruction
*Develop observation skills to teach the body in front of you with confidence.
*Adapt sessions in real time using purposeful cueing, modifications, and movement logic.
