Dirk Hamilton was born in Hobart, Indiana and raised in California. He was signed to ABC records in 1975 by Steely Dan producer Gary Katz. In 1978 his third major label offering, Meet Me at the Crux, was released on Elektra. He has a catalogue of 19 albums released on various labels both in the U.S. and Europe. He is known for his intelligent lyrics and passionate performances. He currently lives in New Mexico. His latest CD is called “Touch and Go”
