Youth Invitation to Explore World Religions


Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is offering a Wednesday night program for young people that explores world religions. This program is designed for grades 5-8, and runs on most Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:00 PM at 38 Elm Street (next to River Arts).


The group will be exploring world religions, focusing on pagan/Indigenous, Hindu, Buddhist and Islam faiths. We take an experiential learning approach, using ritual and fun activities like crafts & simple cooking projects. We balance playful learning with serious and contemplative moments. All youth are invited to participate no matter their religious affiliation. There also will be an adult world religions group starting in November. Suggested donation is $200 for the year, but no one will be turned away because of finances.
