"the Fig" - Episcopal Church Of The Transfiguration
14115 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, United States
Started in 2017 in partnership with the Dallas Bar Association, Together We DineTM (TWD) provides an opportunity for people to convene and have safe conversations about a variety of topics over a meal. The unique experience Project Unity offers allows participants to reflect on their life journey and the impact on their thoughts, biases, and opinions regarding race, religion, belonging, politics, social justice, law enforcement and more. We recognize that we all come from different places, backgrounds, and corners of the country, but we are all bonded by the common thread of humanity.
Join us for the May Community Together We Dine in partnership with The Fig as we explore conversations around race relations and our cultural backgrounds and how our lived experiences influence the way we see each other. Everyone is welcome to be a part of the conversation.
Following an introduction of fellowship, Project Unity facilitators will lead interactive small group discussions among participants. It is our hope that through Together We Dine you will find that what unites us is far greater than what divides us. Welcome to the table!
