Soap Pump Workshop with Jo Pilston Pottery
Ditch the plastic and add some handmade charm to your sink! In this fun and functional pottery class, you’ll create your very own ceramic soap pump using the slab-building method—perfect for holding your favorite hand soap, dish soap, or even lotion (fancy!).
We’ll guide you step-by-step through:
Shaping clay slabs to form your pump bottle
Adding texture and personality with stamps, tools, or anything you’d like to press into the clay
Fitting the pump top (included!) so it actually works
And the best part: choosing your own glaze color(s) to make it truly yours—go earthy, go bold, go speckled, go wild!
You also choose the clay you would like to work with, dark clay or cream clay. Keep in mind, not all colors look good on dark clay.
Class cost is $75
