Make Your Own Herbal Bug Spray Workshop

Join Community Herbalist Kay Williams at The Thicket’s Edge Studio for an intimate, hands-on class where we’ll explore essential oils, herbs, and folk medicine while you blend your own herbal bug spray to take home.

In this class, you’ll also be guided through making a tincture base using the Simpler’s Method, a traditional folk technique for crafting plant medicine with just two ingredients. You'll leave with a jar of your own tincture-in-progress so you can make more spray at home later in addition to your ready to use bug spray made in class —keeping your knowledge and your medicine cabinet full.

Together, we’ll talk about:

• Why these herbs work (and what doesn’t!)
• The difference between essential oils and tinctures
• How to create tinctures
