Join EMPOWER Series, Inc. and Kutana Foundation for a dynamic Student and Career Awareness Networking Event designed to empower youth and connect them with local professionals, educators, and community leaders. This event will feature inspiring speakers, interactive breakout sessions on networking and financial literacy, a "Pro Panel" with insights from various industries, and an open networking mixer. Our goal is to foster connections, facilitate learning, and help attendees elevate their personal and professional journeys.
Event Description:
EMPOWER Series, Inc. and Kutana Foundation, two 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, are proud to present a joint Student and Career Awareness Networking Event! This collaborative initiative, born from a recent EMPOWER Series Podcast featuring Grace Otieno on "Empowering Youth Through Networking & Financial Literacy," aims to bring together 50 students (ages 14-22) and 50 adults (local professionals, educators, and community leaders) for a day of invaluable growth and connection.
Our theme, "Connect. Learn. Elevate.", encapsulates our commitment to providing a platform where young individuals can gain insights into diverse career paths, develop essential life skills, and build meaningful relationships with experienced professionals.

We provide financial literacy and personal development programs that deliver Hope (to realize what they envision), Inspiration (to take action), Education (to increase value), and Connections (to achieve goals).
About Kutana Foundation: Kutana foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through professional networking and career development. Additionally, the organization promotes business and financial education, equipping young people with skills for long-term economic empowerment.
Ticket Information: Participation in this event is free for both students and adults. However, we warmly welcome donations to support the ongoing initiatives of EMPOWER Series and Kutana Foundation. Your contribution helps us continue providing valuable programs to our community.

Info: Networking 101: Breaking the Ice Like a Boss: Learn elevator pitches and follow-up strategies. Each session includes an interactive activity, a takeaway tool/worksheet, and an optional "mentor minute."
Info: Finance Foundations: Get the Bag, Keep the Bag: Essential budgeting, credit, and savings tips.

Info: Open Networking Mixer: Structured free-flow networking where youth can circulate and connect with professionals. Nametags will help distinguish roles and industries. An optional headshot station will also be available!
