Chip Happens: Slab-Built Chip & Dip Set Class with Jo Pilston Pottery
Let’s face it—chips and dip deserve a proper throne. In this playful and hands-on pottery class, you'll create a one-of-a-kind chip and dip set that’s equal parts functional and fabulous.
We’ll be working with slab-building techniques to shape your perfect party platter. You’ll get to choose a texture for your chip plate—maybe it’s classy, maybe it’s funky, maybe it looks like the chips have been waiting their whole lives for it.
You’ll also pick your glaze color combo and chat with Jo herself about which colors will make your piece pop. Whether you're into sleek and modern or earthy and eclectic, we’ll help you find your glaze vibe. Jo has opinions. You’ve been warned.
No experience? No problem. Just bring your love of snacks and we’ll do the rest. You’ll end up with a chip and dip set so glorious, guacamole might weep.
Jo will whisk your chip and dip set away to be kiln fired and glazed to your exact specifications (aka your dip dreams). Your masterpiece will return in 3–4 weeks—just in time to become the star of your Labor Day party. Because nothing says "festive gathering" like handmade ceramics and an unreasonable amount of guac.
