Rumbullion Education Series: Gin Tiki with Watershed Distillery

Gin isn't everyone's cup of tea, but we think that's probably for the wrong reasons. Most naysayers had a bad experience with grandad's cheap Seagram's stashed in the basement, and haven't been able to shake the memory of that taste. We instead say, well, you just haven't met the right gin.

In this installment of Tonga Tim's "Rumbullion" education series, we will look at the strange and dark history of gin, and how it wiggled its way into the world of tiki cocktails. This will show you some unexpected styles of gin, and new flavors that you may not have expected.

The class includes two craft tiki cocktails curated by Tim, each made with different varieties of gin. We welcome our friends at Watershed Distillery to particularly showcase their line of four unique and refined gin expressions. Brand Ambassador Cassandra Swift will also join us to help enjoy a flight of these fine spirits.
