Welcome to the jungle baby! Join Vivienne Starr for an energetic 80's rock inspired burlesque course, where attitude, meets hips, heels and hair flicks. This body confidence course is inclusive for anyone ready to embrace their unapologetic attitude. Over 8-weeks, you'll discover that dance has never looked this good. Suitable for anyone 18+, & all skills levels, this course is perfect for those who love Guns N' Roses & aren't afraid to show off their assets & attitude.
Each week, we’ll focus on sexy, seductive dance movements that build confidence, rhythm and attitude - perfect for anyone ready to have some fun. This course includes optional striptease elements/clothing removal; please note we always cater to your individual needs and comfort level. With genuine instructors, our goal is to ensure everyone feels safe, confident & ready to shine.
Students who attend every rehearsal have the option to perform as a group on stage in our Sultry Saturday show on Sept 13th, 2025, at VaVoom Room shows. Participation is 100% optional but it’s incredibly fun!

What to Wear & Bring: Dress in comfy clothes (like workout/gym attire), and feel free to wear heels, sneakers, or even socks—whatever makes you feel good and ready to dance for an hour. Don’t forget your water to stay hydrated, as this class is a bit more of a workout than it seems!

With her unique teaching style & extensive background in various dance forms and performance arts, Vivienne ensures you’ll not only master the moves but also gain confidence and joy along the way. She regularly conducts classes and workshops throughout regional Australia, drawing on her rich and diverse background. Burlesque has profoundly changed her life, and she hopes to inspire you to experience the same transformation. With training in jazz, ballet, cabaret, showgirl performance, tap, classical piano, singing, and impeccable comedic timing, Vivienne Starr truly knows her craft.
