A working group at CDFA recently defined “regenerative agriculture” practices. We will start with a panel how regenerative farming in California aligns with long term economic farmland vitality. Does history repeat itself? Like in 2010, farmland values show resilience in economic downturn.
The panel includes:
· Don Cameron, GM of Terranova Ranch and President of CDFA
· David Gates, Sr Vice President of Operations at Ridge Vineyards
· Gretchen Montague, Sr Investment Manager at FarmTogether.
· Carl Evers II, Vice President of Acquisitions at Manulife Investment Management
· Carl Evers III, Director of Sustainability at AgIS Capital and Water Education Foundation
The panel is moderated by Erica Lofving, Principal Consultant Climate Risk and Sustainability at Scandinavian Green & former Chief Sustainability Officer of a public wine group
After the panel and vineyard tour, please join us in celebrating AgMonitor’s 10 years of working with California agriculture (and CEO Olivier’s 50th birthday!) with wine tasting and light food bites.
