Outlander Herbalism

Join local herbalist Rosy to learn more about and try some of the herbs used in the Outlander book and TV series

Some of the popular TV series Outlander was filmed in Falkland, and one of the main characters develops her herbalist skills throughout it. I am a herbalist based in Falkland and a fan of the books and TV series, so I have enjoyed pulling these strands together to share with you in this workshop.

We will meet at my herbal apothecary and then go for a wee walk to visit my herb garden nestled below Falkland Palace similar to the one at Castle Leoch to meet and collect some of the plants connected to Outlander. We will then bring them back to my apothecary to try some and make them into an Outlander inspired herbal remedy for you to take home.

This will be an enjoyable way to connect with other Outlander fans and learn more about the plants used in the Outlander books and TV series, as well as their modern uses for supporting your own health and well being.

Suitable for over 12's (under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult) and please let me know beforehand if you have any mobilty challenges because the room is accessed by stairs and we will go for a short herb walk too.
