Dear care workers and NHS staff, you are warmly invited to come and take a little quiet time, just for you, to let go of the stresses and strains of daily life. Join experienced heart teachers and friends to learn simple techniques you can use to feel more present, alert and relaxed.
Everyone is welcome and no particular belief system is required. Simply an open mind and heart, and a willingness to try for yourself to see what might work for you. Please feel free to bring a friend and enjoy the relaxation together.
Your half-day retreat will include peaceful heart meditation, gentle flowing yoga practices (adaptable for all abilities), deep relaxation, refreshments and more. If you’ve never done yoga before, this is a perfect opportunity to try it out. And if you’ve been practising for some time, you might really love Heart Of Living Yoga!
Heart-centred yoga and meditation practices offer a very simple and profound way of helping our systems not only recover from stress, with practice over time we also become more able to handle challenging situations in a peaceful way.
