Celebrate Pride on a community nature wander through the Bevan Wetlands🌲🏳️🌈
Queer Centre Comox Valley and the Stewardship Centre for BC invite our 2SLGBTQIA+ community to connect with nature and each other in celebration of Comox Valley Pride! This Pride walk will be led by meika johnson (they/them), an Indigiqueer community organizer, artist, and educator who is excited to share their love of nature, queerness, and community connection. All ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome!

Instructions on getting to the meeting point:
To access the trail from Courtenay, drive west on Lake Trail Road. Continue straight through the intersection at Comox Logging Road. Continue straight for ~2 minutes, past the first yellow gate at the entrance to the Comox Valley Water Treatment Plant, and park at the second yellow gate, which will be marked with a Pride flag. Carpooling is recommended!

Comfortable walking shoes or boots
