Saturday July 26th!
This month we are joined by Medical Herbalist, Tryphena Huntingford. More details to follow, but here's some information from the Harpford Herbs website:
Established in 2019, we grow and process organic medicinal herbs at Harpford Farm in Somerset. The herbs are primarily used to create medicines: tinctures, teas, creams and honey extractions. We also sell standard mixes of teas, to help with sleeplessness, anxiety and poor digestion, as well as a wide-range of single dried herbs and pre-ordered fresh herbs in season.
Tryphena was drawn to study herbs for successful self-treatment leading to a formal diploma and qualification as a medical herbalist. It is a privilege to work for people and with plants. Also, there is a lot of joy to be had in helping patients with herbs as well as in teaching. The learning never stops!
Michael has a strong interest in gardening and growing. We are both keen to promote the benefits of herbal teas and herbal medicine and to encourage everyone to learn how to better care for themselves using herbs.
We will also have our usual offering of free tea, coffee, cake and biscuits and time to chat.
Looking forward to seeing you all! Do share the event with anyone living with PD who you feel may benefit from our lovely café. That includes partners, spouses, family members or anyone who supports someone with Parkinson's who wants to learn more.

Run with support from Parkinson's UK, Positively Parkinson's hopes to attract working-age people, as this seems to be a group who are often overlooked. However, ALL are welcome at any age!
Our name was chosen by someone who lives with Parkinson's and it sums up our ethos of providing hope, encouragement and solidarity.
