The Eastern Vaccination Service is pleased to offer free NHS Health Checks for adults aged 40 to 74, alongside a range of health and wellbeing support, including blood pressure checks and vaccinations for eligible individuals across our local communities.
The NHS Health Check is a free assessment of your overall health and can help identify whether you’re at increased risk of developing certain conditions, such as:
Heart disease, Diabetes, Kidney disease, Strokes.
During the appointment, our team will also provide personalised advice on how to reduce the risk of these conditions.
You may qualify for a free NHS Health Check if you:
-Are aged between 40 and 74
-Have not had an NHS Health Check in the past 5 years
-Do not have certain pre-existing conditions (e.g. heart disease, chronic kidney disease, atrial fibrillation, diabetes, or high blood pressure)
