Experience the heartwarming charm of Cullman, Alabama at the 2025 Oktoberfest Celebration! This annual event immerses visitors in German heritage with attractions for all ages. From Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM to the closing of the Hofbräuhaus Biergarten on Saturday, October 4 at 11 PM, the streets will be filled with lively music, cultural displays, and delicious German cuisine.
The festival features three covered biergartens:
- **Hofbräuhaus Experience**: A completely covered biergarten serving Hofbräu München beers, Bavarian-style servers, and non-stop entertainment.
- **Ethos/Goat Island Biergarten**: Presented by Cullman Savings Bank, this large tent biergarten is completely covered, located under the Depot Park Pavilion, offering craft beers from local brewers and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
- **Weihenstephan Festzelt Biergarten**: Featuring authentic beers from the world's oldest brewery, founded in 1040 by Benedictine monks at Weihenstephan Abbey in Bavaria.
The Kids' Zone boasts a huge inflatable playground, costing only $3 per wristband for all the fun your little ones can handle, or grab a $25 wristband and get unlimited access to the inflatable park PLUS 5 tickets for Carnival rides, the Cullman mini train, and more! Free entertainment for the kiddos includes Kid’s German crafts, yard games, a pumpkin walk, costume contests, pretzel eating contests, stein hoisting, and so much more.
The festival also includes a parade, live music, cultural displays, and delicious German cuisine.
