Moonlight and Magnolias

Moonlight and Magnolias directed by Rick Snyder, is a Behind-the-Scenes Comedy of Hollywood Chaos that offers a wild backstage pass to one of the most dramatic rewrites in film history: the adaptation of Gone with the Wind. Set in 1939, the play imagines the real-life crisis that unfolded when producer David O. Selznick shut down production and locked himself in his office with screenwriter Ben Hecht and director Victor Fleming for five days to overhaul the script. What follows is a farcical tug-of-war between egos, ethics, and a lot of peanuts and bananas.
