Come Run, Come All to Dirt Circus Chicago, a free community event by UltraSignup in partnership with The Running Depot Crystal Lake!
The FREE one-day trail running festival will highlight local races, run clubs, brands, and other local businesses. The event includes a community social run, food, a raffle with tons of prizes, camaraderie, and so much more. Come and join us under the big top.

Dirt Circus is a series of FREE community events organized by UltraSignup to celebrate local races, and race directors. We are bringing together the local running community to share everything we love about trail running.
Huge thanks to all our partners including Sidas, Silo, and Skratch Labs and to our local event partners Ornery Mule Racing and Trailblazer Running!
All participants receive a sweet UltraSignup branded SILO "Shoe Bag Lite" filled with nutrition products from Skratch Labs, “Run Atomic Lite” socks from Sidas, Yellowbird hot sauce and more! (over $40 in value!)
EVENT DETAILS
Saturday September 13, 2025
7:00am - Group Run Check-in at The Running Depot Crystal Lake. Give yourself time to check in, mingle, demo shoes, and get ready to run!
8:00am - Group Run Starts
Enjoy a casual 3 or 5 mile run with friends from the local run community.
9:00-9:30am - Return from Group Run for the Festivities and enjoy the Dirt Circus Expo!
10:00am - 12:00pm - Raffle, Brand Expo, Social Connections
Get excited for raffle prizes from brand partners, race entries, and cool swag & apparel! We'll have brand booths and tables set up when you return from your run, whatever distance you chose. Talk to Race Directors, learn about local races, and maybe test out some hydration and nutrition brands!
