Sunday morning community gardening

This is an urgent plea from the volunteers for help as many of regular members have moved out of Croydon, so please come and help the Friends volunteers in the Walled Garden of Park Hill Park, Croydon.
On Sunday Volunteers will be carrying on trying to pull up the Green Alicante, which has self seeded squeezing out our plants in many areas of the garden, along with continuing to tidy the mini urban orchard area, putting down more wood chip, as well as planting vegetables.
All the tools, materials and plants are provided. The weather is forecast to be lovely and sunny but please wear suitable clothes for gardening, including shoes or boots. We have some gardening gloves if you do not have your own.
Sunday is a work day but everyone is welcome. However, children and those with extra needs must be accompanied by a care giver or parent at all times as the volunteers are unable to supervise (please understand this a requirement by our insurance company).
