Visit Historic Annapolis at the Juneteenth Festival! Enjoy family activities, giveaways, and more at our festival table. The Annapolis Juneteenth Festival will be an event to remember with live music and entertainment, food, and vendors.

Juneteenth, also called Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States in 1865, specifically when the news of the end of Civil War was shared with those still enslaved in Texas. Today, this day of independence and hope, is celebrated with music, food and festivities that focus on reflection, education and honoring the history of ancestors.

Historic Annapolis is pleased to be a sponsor of the Annapolis Juneteenth Celebration.
