Indie-folk singer-songwriter from South Wales, known for her powerful voice and experimental guitar effects that create a unique, otherworldly sound. Every performance is distinct.
AfroWelsh Connection
A captivating big band blending West African rhythms with global influences. Led by Gambian kora player Bunja Conteh, joined by musicians including Liz Conteh, Terry Payne, Marc Smith, Chandra Moon, Omar Sanyan, and Lucy Marley, their sound is hypnotic and richly textured.
Pieces of Work
A fusion of folk, prog, rock, and classical, with poetic, emotive songs described as “crepuscular and agreeably eccentric” (Buzz). Fronted by songwriter Jon, the band includes Jem (drums), Peter (keys), Kathryn (violin), and Andy (bass), creating a dense, expressive sound full of life’s drama.
