Hike & Talk by the Ice Age Trail Alliance and Alzheimer's Association
The Ice Age Trail Alliance and Alzheimer's Association have joined forces to create an innovative (and FREE) Hike & Talk event that combines the therapeutic benefits of nature with vital brain health education. This unique partnership brings participants to Wisconsin's stunning Indian Lake County Park, where guided walks through glacially carved landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for discussions about maintaining cognitive wellness and supporting those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
Representatives will guide attendees through the scenic trails while sharing evidence-based information about brain-healthy lifestyle choices, the importance of physical activity for cognitive function, and resources available through the Ice Age Trail Alliance and Alzheimer's Association.
This event will raise awareness about trail conservation and the geological wonders of Wisconsin's ice age heritage and create a supportive community environment to learn more about dementia and the proven mental health benefits of spending time outdoors.
This FREE EVENT will leave attendees with a deeper appreciation for the Ice Age Trail's natural beauty and practical knowledge about brain health that they can incorporate into their daily lives.
