Opening Mass for the Cause of Sister Annella Zervas, OSB

Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 9, 2025. On this day, Bishop Andrew Cozzens will formally open the Cause for Sister Annella Zervas, OSB, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston, Minnesota.

The schedule includes:
4:00 PM – Exhibit on the life of Sister Annella
5:00 PM – Personal reflection by Patrick Norton
6:00 PM – Organ recital in honor of Sister Annella, who was herself an organist
6:30 PM – Opening Mass, celebrated by Bishop Cozzens, followed by the Opening Session of the diocesan inquiry into Sister Annella’s life and virtues

This day marks the beginning of the Church’s formal investigation into Sister Annella’s life, virtues, and reputation for holiness. All are invited to attend in person at the Cathedral or participate by livestream.
