Introduction to Radix, an Energy Awareness and Grounding Class

Radix is a body/mind modality of healing and an education in feeling. Understanding bodily sensations linked to emotions fosters better self-regulation and self-understanding.

The main concept that will be explored is the relationship between emotions and energy. Emotions can either be expressed or blocked. Either of these options may be appropriate in a given situation.This class explores the benefits of being more in your body and connecting with your inner energy and how it relates to the energy all around us. In particular our contact with ourselves, the world, others, and the ground.

The class involves a series of experiential stances and movements, as well as ideas of self-awareness.

Mike Berlinski has trained extensively through the Radix Institute, a holistic therapy that works with the body, mind and emotions to achieve healing and to develop the capacity to engage fully with life.Mike is also a professional artist and part-time art instructor for various art organizations as well as currently working with clients in the Radix modality.
