A Walk For J @ Osborne Bay; Steps to Overdose Awareness

This will be my third event in Crofton to honour my little sister and all lost to the toxic drug crisis. This year, I will be collecting money for the Cowichan Valley Basket Society in Duncan as I feel a lot who struggle with addiction use them as a lifeline. I will have a table set up with some information, and will be handing out purple ribbons and purple glow stick necklaces for the walk at dusk. There will be a performance by Tzinquaw Dancers followed by live music from award winning Chris Andres and another act TBD. Also so excited to have Gondola Gelato on site this year. Time to remember, time to act.
