About the event

7th Annual Tangier Classic Fishing Tournament 2025

The Tangier Classic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Every September we host a light tackle and kayak fishing tournament based out of the American Legion Post 16 in Crisfield, MD. We utilize this fishing tournament and other events throughout the year to raise money for local youth.
Anglers compete 2 out of 3 days. Join us while we celebrate the abundant fishing opportunities of the Tangier Sound and lower Chesapeake Bay while raising money for our 2025 beneficiary. We’re now accepting beneficiary application and sponsorship! Please visit our website for more information:
